BlueStone Collaborative consults globally on initiatives aimed at the empowerment of women and girls. BlueStone Collaborative is based in the United States and was established by Charlotte Moats-Gallagher. Charlotte has a doctorate in Leadership and Change with a gender emphasis and 17 years of experience in international development, gender and higher education. Her specific areas of interest and expertise are in leading gender responsive evaluations and consulting on the design, implementation and evaluation of women’s leadership programs. BlueStone Collaborative is also working on long-term applied research projects centered on race and human security.
BlueStone works with a small, nimble team to meet the needs of our clients. Taghrid (Tag) Khuri is a core collaborator with BlueStone. Tag has a doctorate in in Urban Studies with a gender emphasis and more than 25 years of experience in gender, women’s capacity building and evaluation. We work on both ‘stand-alone’ women’s programs that deal directly with women’s leadership and empowerment, gender equity, etc. as well as on broader projects and programs (agricultural, environmental, business, etc.) that benefit from having a gender lens infused throughout the evaluation.
